Registration


Thank you for choosing ST. FRANCIS eastside for your upcoming delivery! Pre-registering for your hospital stay allows your admission to happen quickly and smoothly. We strongly recommend that you pre-register by your fourth month of pregnancy so that all paperwork is completed well in advance of your delivery.

If you pre-register, then you will only need to confirm your personal information and show your photo ID and insurance card when you arrive at the hospital.
 

Step One

Complete the pre-admission form at your OB-GYN's office. The hospital pre-admission form is available at your OB-GYN's office and is usually given to you at your first OB office visit. You will complete the form and provide your photo ID and insurance card to be copied, and the office staff will submit the form on your behalf.

A registration packet for you to read and keep on file will also be provided by your OB-GYN's office at the time you complete your pre-admission form. Please look over this information carefully as it will probably answer many questions you may have about your hospital stay.


Step Two

Attend the Great Expectations maternity orientation class. St. Francis offers a free, one-hour class called Great Expectations that will give you all the ins and outs of what to expect during your hospital stay. During this class you will receive confirmation that your pre-admission to the hospital  is complete. If we are missing any information, we will get it from you at that time. By the time you leave the class, you will have confirmation that you are officially pre-registered for your hospital stay.
